COMPETITIONS

SATURDAY COMPETITIONS

 

  • Small Black and grey  - must be smaller than A4, black and grey wash  and black ink only, a small amount of white highlight is allowed. no colour!!! No opaques!!! no portraits!!!

  • Small Colour - must be smaller than A4, any style permitted.

  • Traditional - any size, old school / traditional style ,  colour or black ink can be used

  • Dotwork/Geometric  - any size, geometric shapes, mandala pattern, dotwork, colour or black ink can be used.

  • PORTRAIT / Realism - any size. realism and portraits only, colour or B&g can be used 

  • BEST HEALED - any size and style allowed, colour or B&g, must be 100% healed!

  • BEST OF SATURDAY - will be decided between all first place winners on Saturday, not including first place winner of healed category.​​

SUNDAY COMPETITIONs

 

  • LARGE Black and grey - must be larger than A4, black and grey wash  and black ink only, a small amount of white highlight is allowed. no colour!!! No opaques!!! no portraits!!!

  • LARGE COLOUR - must be larger than A4, any style permitted.

  • NEO-TRADITIONAL - any size, more modern take on the American traditional  tattoo style, colour or b&g can be used.

  • ORIENTAL - any size, design of Asian origin, traditional or modern style is allowed, colour or b&g can be used.

  • portrait / REALISM - any size. realism and portraits only, colour or B&g can be used 

  • BEST OF SUNDAY - will be decided between all first place winners on Sunday

  • BEST OF SHOW - will be decided between first place winners on Saturday and Sunday

tattoo COMPETITION rules

 

All tattoos except the healed category must be done at the convention!!! 

​

tattoos can be only entered in 1 category.

​

artist and customer must both be present to participate in the competition. both will also receive award if they win.

​

all entrants must be registered to enter. registration will be possible at the info booth between 12pm and 4pm, after which registration will close and participation will not longer be possible that day.

​

the competition will start on Saturday and Sunday at 5pm according to the order above.
